A man accused of murder in the death of a Blytheville man appeared in court.

Capt. Scott Adams of the Blytheville Police Department said Anfernee Wells, 25, was in Blytheville District Court Thursday to be arraigned.

Wells was arrested in Detroit two weeks ago and brought to the Mississippi County Sheriff's Department Tuesday night.

Bond for Wells was set at $1 million dollars, cash only. The same bond was set for Daniel “Dy Nasty” Johnson, 24, according to Adams.

Wells and Johnson are accused of shooting Vincent Stone multiple times at Williams Park in late June. Both are charged with first-degree murder.

The next court date for Wells will be Nov. 20 in Blytheville Circuit Court.
