Police: Juvenile held up at gunpoint in church parking lot

BLYTHEVILLE, AR (KAIT) - Blytheville police are investigating a robbery that happened in a church parking lot Sunday.

According to a news release from Captain Scott Adams, a teen boy said he went to his mom's car at 1 p.m. to get a phone charger when a man approached him and demanded his phone at gunpoint.

After the suspect took the phone he drove off in a car with another male, the release stated.

The victim told officers he knows the suspect who robbed him.

Adams did not release the name or location of the church.
