3 arrested in Lepanto on drug charges

LEPANTO, AR (KAIT) -

Three people were arrested for drugs after police conducted a parole search.

The search was made at a residence in the 200-block of Didema St. on Monday, according to the Lepanto Police Department.

Chief Chad Henderson, an officer and his K9 partner searched the residence and found "multiple baggies of methamphetamine" in addition to other drug paraphernalia, a new release stated.

Kristi Betts, Edward Lee Moore and Edward Lamon Moore, all of Lepanto, were arrested on charges of possession of meth and drug paraphernalia.

All three are scheduled for a probable cause hearing Tuesday.
