JONESBORO, AR (A-STATE) – The Arkansas State volleyball squad’s match versus Appalachian State Sunday, Nov. 8 is set to be broadcast on ESPN3 with first serve from the Holmes Center in Boone, N.C., scheduled for 11:30 a.m. (CT).
Arkansas State will take on Georgia State Friday, Nov. 6 before traveling to play the Mountaineers Sunday. A-State enters the weekend with the longest winning streak in the nation at 18 matches, while Appalachian State sports a 15-match winning streak of its own. The Red Wolves currently have a record of 22-1 with a 13-0 mark in the SBC. The Mountaineers are 12-0 in conference play and 19-4 overall and will take on Georgia Southern Friday night before Sunday’s matchup.
Sunday’s match will mark only the third meeting in volleyball between the two schools all-time after A-State defeated the Mountaineers twice last season. The Red Wolves won a close 3-2 contest in Jonesboro, before defeating Appalachian State 3-1 on the road later in the season.

Sunday’s matchup with the Mountaineers will mark the second time this season the Red Wolves have played on ESPN3 after defeating Missouri State 3-2 on Sept. 9.
