Two suspects arrested in Lepanto armed robbery

LEPANTO, AR (KAIT) - Police arrested a man Monday in connection to an armed robbery in Lepanto Saturday night.

Investigator Dakota Davidson arrested Kenneth Turner for aggravated robbery and theft.

He is being held on a $100,000 cash bond.

Darius Miller was also arrested in connection to the robbery.

He will go before a judge November 16.

Police Chief Chad Henderson said three black men wearing masks robbed the Corner Liquor Store at the intersection of Broad Street and McClellan Street around 8:20 p.m.

Chief Henderson said the men had a sawed-off shotgun and a handgun.  Police were able to get an image of the suspects from a security camera.

Henderson said the owner of the liquor store is offering $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the three suspects.
