Three men wanted for burglary and breaking and entering

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

Jonesboro police are looking for three men that may have broken into a car and stolen a phone Saturday.

Police were dispatched to the 2000-block of Ceder Heights Cove around 8:20 p.m. Saturday where a man claimed his Garmin GPS was stolen from his car. 

The car owner told police his car was also ransacked.

A witness in the area told Officer Ethan Sanderlin he saw three black men in the area around the time of the incident.

He said the men asked to use his phone but when he said no they stayed in the parking lot.

One of the men was wearing an Aeropostale sweatshirt, according to the witnesses’ statement to police.

Later that night another man reported to JPD that three black men asked to use his phone while he was standing in front of his apartment on Russell Drive.

When he agreed, the three men followed him to his apartment.

The victim told police the three men stole a cell phone and punched him in the face once he opened the door to his apartment. 

According to the police report, the man said the suspects were wearing dark colored clothes. 

There have been no arrests in either incident.

    A Paragould family is a step closer to having their miniature horses living on their property as the city discussed an ordinance that would rezone their property from residential to agriculture. The property is located in the 3,000-block of Finch Road.
