Police: Robbery suspect arrested, attempted to rob bank

BLYTHEVILLE, AR (KAIT) - One of two suspects wanted for robbing a convenience store in Blytheville is behind bars. But that robbery is not the only one he is accused of being involved with, according to police.

David Pilgram, 20, was arrested in connection with an aggravated robbery on Sunday, according to Criminal Investigation Division Commander Captain Scott Adams.

Adams said as investigators were looking into the incident on Monday morning they were alerted to an attempted bank robbery in Wilson.

During that robbery, Pilgram was armed with a handgun "consistent with the one used in the Flash Market aggravated robbery," police state. Detectives also matched the same clothing Pilgram was wearing during both robberies.

A warrant was issued for Pilgram. He is currently in the Mississippi County Detention Center.

He will be arraigned on Wednesday in Blytheville District Court.

No other arrests were mentioned in the news release from police.
