Crimestoppers: JPD says he tried to pass a fake $100 bill

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Even though he didn't cash the fake $100 bill, he's still on Crimestoppers.

Here is the suspect the Jonesboro Police Department is trying to identify. The detective on this case says the suspect was shopping at a Jonesboro Dollar General.

He picked up a couple items and headed for the cashier and paid with the $100 bill. When the clerk went to the rear of the store to check to see if it was real, he took off.

Even though the bill was never used, he's still looking at a charge of forgery in the second degree. If you can make the ID on this suspect, it could be worth cash. Call in that tip to Crimestoppers at 935-STOP.

Here's who we have this week on Warrant Watch.

Christine Marroquin has the unlucky 13 warrants. Six for public service and seven for contempt.

Travis Williams has 49 warrants. His total bond is nearly $17,000.

If you can lead police to Travis Williams or Christine Marroquin, it's worth money, call in that tip to Crimestoppers at 935-STOP or text it.
