Jonesboro police investigating robbery at business

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

Jonesboro police are investigating an overnight theft at a business on Burke Street.

Police were dispatched to the 900-block of Burke Street Tuesday morning in reference to a commercial burglary.

The business owner told officers that someone entered the building through a large plexiglass window in the back and stole some items Monday night.

The police report states there were tire tracks from a vehicle left in the vacant lot behind the business.

The owner said he had still been inside the building around 10 p.m. Monday and noticed a white Chevrolet truck driving slowly near the business.

The owner didn’t have any other description of the truck.

Police are still investigating this incident and have not named any suspects yet.
