Car wreck in Jonesboro leads to 1 car bursting into flames

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

A car wreck in Jonesboro Friday left 1 of the vehicles in flames.

According to a Jonesboro police officer at the scene, the wreck happened at the intersection of Airport Road and Johnson Avenue.

Police said a black Camaro traveling on Airport Road attempted to turn left.

A Crown Victoria was traveling southbound along Airport Road.

JPD said the driver of the Camaro failed to yield and pulled out in front of the Crown Victoria as it crossed the intersection.

When the cars collided, the Camaro burst into flames.

Jonesboro Fire Department responded to the crash.

JPD reported minor injuries in this wreck.

No other details have been released.
