Sheriff to announce arrests in Baxter Co. arson, murder investigation

BAXTER COUNTY, AR (KAIT) -

A local sheriff's office will be holding a news conference Monday in regards to a murder, arson case.

Baxter County Sheriff John Montgomery says the meeting will take place at 2 p.m. at the sheriff's office in Mountain Home.

Investigators are expected to announce the arrests of persons and the filing of charges in connection with the murder and arson investigations on Baxter County Road 508 on Nov. 7.

The remains of homeowners Donald and LaDonna Rice were found days later during the investigation.
