Coach John Brady to leave A-State regardless of this season's outcome

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

A-State Men’s Basketball Head Coach John Brady said this will be his last season at Arkansas State.

Brady made the announcement during the press conference after A-State played Lyon College Monday night.

He said regardless of how well his team does this year he will be leaving at the end of the season.

This is Brady’s 8th season at Arkansas State and 25th year as a head coach at the Division 1 level, according to the A-State Athletics website.

He is close to 400 career victories.

He led the team to a 11-18 record in the 2014-15 season.

The Red Wolves beat Lyon 81-37 to go to 1-1 on the season so far.
