Beebe man injured in fatal crash

LITTLE ROCK, AR (KAIT) - A man from Region 8 was injured in a crash where a woman was killed. The crash happened on Saturday just before 10 a.m. in Little Rock.

According to Arkansas State Police, Ronald Gibs, 42, of Beebe was headed west on Interstate 630 in a Toyota Sienna. A Ford F-150 entered the interstate from an on ramp, lost control and crossed the right lane into the middle lane.

Gibs then struck the Ford causing it to hit a concrete barrier, police stated.

The driver of the Ford, William Bristow, 84, of Little Rock, was injured. His passenger Lynell Bristow, 80, of Little Rock died as a result of the crash.

Both injured men were taken to a Little Rock hospital.

ASP stated weather conditions were cloudy and the road was wet at the time of the crash.
