Ross scores 11 points as Lehigh falls to #12 Virginia

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (KAIT) - Former Jonesboro High School Guard and current Lehigh Mountain Hawk Kahron Ross had a solid night against the twelfth ranked team in the nation on Wednesday night.

The reigning Patriot League Freshman of the Year scored 11 points with 4 assists as the Hawks dropped the game to #12 Virginia 80-54.

11 points is Ross' second highest total of the season, he dropped 14 on November 16 against Canisius. He averaged 10.4 points per game last season for Lehigh.

The Mountain Hawks are currently 0-5 on the season and things don't get any easier in their next contest. They'll play #15 Purdue on Saturday.

Ross graduated from Jonesboro in 2014 and was part of a Hurricane state title in his senior year, averaging 14.5 points per game as an All-State Guard.
