Jonesboro apartment burglarized

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

A Jonesboro woman had a bleak end to the holiday weekend after returning to her apartment on Belt St. to discover her house had been burglarized.

According to a police report, the woman returned home from a trip and noticed her house was broken into and items were stolen.

Police say dirty footprints were found on the floor and window sill; and the window blinds were damaged. 

An iPad, laptop, and pair of UGG boots were reported missing.

No suspects have been named, but the investigation is ongoing

    An Earle police officer died early Sunday in a car crash, according to a post on Crittenden County Sheriff Mike Allen's Facebook page.
