Suspected crack cocaine found during traffic stop

STEELE, MO (KAIT) -

A Missouri man was arrested for drugs following a traffic stop.

Steele Police Chief Billy Joe Stanfield said one of his officers stopped a vehicle on Monday on Liberty Street.

Dontae Corrico White, 23, of Steele, the driver of the vehicle, was found to be in possession of a baggie containing suspected crack cocaine along with marijuana, according to police.

White was arrested and taken to the Pemiscot County Jail.

A warrant was later issued charging White with possession of a controlled substance and bond was set at $25,000.
