STODDARD COUNTY, MO (KAIT) -

A man was recently arrested on a warrant connected to a sexual abuse case involving a teen in Missouri.

Police arrested Adam Sarantos, 29, of Lakeview, MI on a warrant for felony statutory sodomy on Thursday.

Sarantos, according to court documents, is one of two men arrested in a sexual abuse case involving a teenager dating back to August.

Police were contacted in September by the Stoddard County Health Center regarding the supposed statutory rape.

During an interview with police, the teen told the officer he had sex with two older men.

The parents of the victim told the investigator they found sexually explicit images and text messages from the teen to Charles Labarre, 32, of Poplar Bluff. They also told the officer their son had sexual contact with Sarantos.

Court documents indicate the victim and Sarantos exchanged sexually explicit images and video in August. Sarantos asked for images from the victim. The victim also identified himself as underage to Sarantos.

The victim told the officer in an interview that he walked to Labarre's residence and met with Sarantos. He also told the officers about engaging in sexual contact with Labarre and Sarantos.

The investigator analyzed the victim's iPad and found Sarantos' "email and contact" between he and the victim.

Sarantos is currently out on $25,000 bond and is expected to be in court on Feb. 25, 2016.

Labarre was arrested and transported to the Missouri Department of Corrections per judge-issued detainer for violating his probation, according to online court records. No bond has been set.
