WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (AP) - Dinos Mitoglou hit a go-ahead 3-point basket with 45 seconds remaining and Wake Forest held on to defeat Arkansas 88-85 on Friday night.
Devin Thomas scored 10 of his 20 points for Wake Forest (6-2) in the last nine minutes after Arkansas wiped out a 14-point deficit.
Mitoglou's basket from the right corner made it 86-83 before Manuale Watkins countered with a basket for the Razorbacks.
Arkansas (3-4) regained possession after Bryant Crawford made one of two free throws, but Wake Forest got the ball back with 6.2 seconds and Cornelius Hudson made the second of two free-throw attempts.
Anthlon Bell's 3-point attempt bounced off the rim at the buzzer.
Hudson finished with 17 points, Mitchell Wilbekin had 13 points. Mitoglou, who did all his scoring in the second half, and John Collins each finished with 10 points for Wake Forest.
