Mountain Home man arrested for meth possession

CLAY COUNTY, AR (KAIT) - A Region 8 man was arrested over the weekend on drug charges after he was stopped for driving hazardously.

A Clay County sheriff's deputy stopped David Collins, 56, of Mountain Home early Sunday morning on County Road 176 near Success for hazardous driving.

A search was performed on Collins and the vehicle and, according to a news release from the sheriff's office, deputies found meth and drug paraphernalia.

Collins was charged with felony possession of drug paraphernalia, felony possession of methamphetamine and hazardous driving.

A probable cause hearing was held Monday and Collins was given a $10,000 bond.
