BAXTER COUNTY, AR (KAIT) - A Baxter County woman is behind bars on felony drug charges after police made two controlled methamphetamine buys from her.
A person cooperating with law enforcement bought meth from Jessie Guillen, 34, of Midway on Sept. 29 and Nov. 12, according to a news release from the sheriff's office. Investigators monitored and recorded about 3.8 combined grams of meth being bought.
Officers then obtained a bench warrant for Guillen.
She was arrested on Dec. 4 and taken to the Baxter County Detention Center.
She is charged with two felony counts of delivery of methamphetamine and two felony counts of unlawful use of a communication device for setting up the drug purchases on a cell phone.
Guillen is being held in lieu of a $15,000 bond.
She will appear in circuit court on Jan. 12.
