WARM SPRINGS, AR (KAIT) -

The Humane Society of the United States says a dog rescued earlier this year in Randolph County is doing great.

The rescue took place in Warm Springs in February.

On their YouTube page, the Humane Society of the United States updated Duffy's condition.

They explained that when the rescue took place, Duffy couldn't even walk.

Once his matted fur was removed, he was so thin his bones were visible.

According to a new video though, Duffy is happy and healthy with his new family.

Duffy was one of 57 animals rescued from the home in Warm Springs in 2015. According to the Randolph County Sheriff's Department, 47 Great Pyrenees dogs, eight chickens and three cats were at the home.

In March, the owner of the animals was charged with animal cruelty.

The sheriff's department conducted an animal abuse investigation at that same home in 2013.

At that time, there were 32 dogs, three cats, a goat and multiple chickens at the house.
