OSCEOLA, AR (KAIT) - An Osceola man was sentenced Wednesday to 94 months in prison followed by three years of supervised release, after he pleaded guilty to a single charge of being a felon in possession of a firearm.
Steven Cuble's time will be served consecutive to the 5-year state sentence he is currently serving, according to the U.S. Department of Justice.
According to facts read at Cuble's hearing, Officers with the Osceola Police Department attempted to serve two felony warrants on Cuble when he fled.
When Cuble was finally stopped, he was arrested.
The officers then searched his car and found a loaded handgun, plastic baggies, scales and other drug paraphernalia.
At the time of the offense, Cuble was serving a five-year suspended imposition of sentence on a state drug charge.
