JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

A Jonesboro man was arrested on a drug charge after officers searched his home Thursday.

According to the probable cause affidavit, Officer Tyler Wilson with the Jonesboro Police Department tried to make contact with two people standing in front of apartments on Cedar Heights Drive Thursday.

The men initially ignored Officer Wilson, but he was able to talk with them once they came back outside of the apartment.

The men were identified as Brandon Moon and Roy James.

It was discovered that James was on felony probation and lived with his mother at this apartment complex, according to court documents.

Officers conducted a probation search of the home. Officer Wilson found a loaded .22 revolver and a glass pipe with white residue inside it under the sink in the bathroom.

Moon claimed the items belonged to him.

He was arrested and is charged with a felony for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Moon is expected back in court on Jan. 29.
