***White or Yellow Cake***
1 Box white or yellow mix 1 C Sprite 3 eggs 4 T Unsalted butter, softened 1/4 C Corn oil
1 Box chocolate cake mix 1 C Coke Cola 3 eggs 4 T Unsalted butter, softened 1/4 C Corn Oil
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
1. Grease pan or pans with shortening, or spray with non-stick cooking spray. 2. Mix white or yellow cake mix with Sprite, eggs, butter and corn oil in a large bowl -OR- mix chocolate cake mix with Coke Cola, eggs, butter and corn oil in a large bowl. 3. Beat with an electric mixer for 7 minutes at medium speed. Pour into prepared 13x9-inch pan, or two 9-inch pans, or Bundt pan. 4. Bake 13x9-inch pan about 30 minutes; Bundt pan about 35 minutes; and 9-inch round pans about 25 minutes. Cake is done when toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. 5. Cool in pan on cooling rack 15 minutes; remove from pan. Frost when completely cooled.
