Shirley's Oatmeal Lace Cookies

2 sticks of margarine
3 C of oatmeal
4 T of flour
1 1/2 C of sugar
Pinch of salt
2 eggs, slightly beaten
2 t. pure vanilla extract
1 C pecan nut pieces

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Melt margarine and pour over oatmeal.
3. Combine flour, sugar and salt: add to oatmeal mixture.
4. Drop by teaspoonful onto aluminum foil.
5. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes, or until edges show slightest sign of browning.
6. Cool, then peel cookies off foil.

Makes about 4 dozen cookies
