JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - For the third time in six months, a Jonesboro church has fallen victim to burglary.
"We're a small congregation," First General Baptist Church Pastor Randy Page said. "We don't have a lot but we share what we do have."
Though they're willing to share, Page said they're tired of being broken into.
In May, someone broke in and stole a guitar. In July, suspects busted out a window and stole cleaning supplies.
This past weekend, someone pried open the bottom of a metal door and stole food items from the church food pantry.
Page said with only 35 to 40 parishioners at First General Baptist, any kind of burglary puts a strain on them.
"It's not major expenses but it does add up," Page said. "It's just frustrating more than anything because people disrespect others and God's house."
Page said the damage done over the past six months has cost the church a few hundred dollars.
Now, they have no choice but to look into a security system.
