One killed, 4 injured in Beebe crash

BEEBE, AR (KAIT) -

A Beebe man died and four other people were injured in a White County crash Monday night.

It happened around 10:45 p.m. on Strayhorn Road.

Laura Wells, 42, of Beebe was driving north when she lost control going around a right hand curve, overcorrected and flipped the car, according to the Arkansas State Police preliminary crash report.

Jason Ollis, 37, of Beebe was a passenger in the car. He was killed in the crash.

Wells was injured along with 31-year-old Amber Edens, a 5-year-old girl and an 8-year-old boy, all of Beebe.

All of the injured people were taken to White County Medical Center for treatment.

According to the crash report, the road was dry and the weather was clear at the time of the crash.
