BAXTER COUNTY, AR (KAIT) - Baxter County Sheriff's Department said they arrested a man after he led them in a chase Thursday night.
Deputies arrested Joey Ray Horn, 45, of Newport after he crashed his truck into a house, ending the pursuit.
Police took a complaint call about someone in a strange vehicle shining headlamps into a home.
Deputies responded to the home on Highway 5.
The victim told officers he and another person went outside to get the truck's license number.
The driver of the truck, later identified as Horn, then took off almost hitting one of them.
About 30 minutes later, an Arkansas State Police trooper spotted the truck and tried to pull Horn over.
Horn did not pull over, leading to the chase.
The report stated Horn tried to drive behind a house on Rodney Road, striking a wooden post on the balcony, then finally coming to rest in the wood line behind the house.
ASP along with the sheriff's department took Horn into custody.
He faces several charges including fleeing, aggravated assault, driving while intoxicated and several moving violations.
He is also being held on outstanding arrest warrants from at least two other jurisdictions.
Horn's bond is set at $25,000 and is set to appear in court Jan. 7th.
