Two killed in head-on collision

DUNKLIN COUNTY, MO (KAIT) -

Two men are dead after an early morning crash in Dunklin County on Highway 53 north of Campbell.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's crash report, Jimmy Harrison, 52, of Lake Wappapello was driving a Chevrolet Silverado north on Highway 53 around 1:53 a.m.

Bill Faucett, 45, also of Lake Wappapello, was a passenger in the truck.

Corey R. Thompson, 26, of Campbell was driving a GMC Denali south when he crossed the center line and hit the truck.

Faucett and Harrison were both pronounced dead at the scene by Dunklin County Coroner James Powell.

Thompson was taken by air medic to St. Francis Medical Center. His injuries were listed as moderate.
