FBI Searching for Wynne Bank Heist Suspects

MARCH 15, 2005 - Posted at 3:51 p.m. CST

WYNNE, AR - Shades of a modern day Bonnie & Clyde, Region 8 style.

The FBI is searching for a pair of male and female suspects in the Friday morning burglary and heist of the Wynne branch of Regions Bank.  According to an FBI report, 20-year-old Felicia Balentine of Wynne and 17-year-old Nathan Beshears of Bowling Green, Kentucky entered the bank Friday morning before business hours and took an undetermined amount of cash.  The heist was apparently an inside job, as Balentine was employed at the bank.

The two suspects face charges of commercial burglary and theft of property over $2,500.  Balentine and Beshears are believed to be traveling in a late-model beige Jeep Cherokee, with a temporary Kentucky license tag.

Anyone with information about this crime, or the whereabouts of the suspects is urged to contact the FBI at 501-221-9100, or the Wynne Police Department at 870-238-8718.
