JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

There are several areas in Region 8 that are experiencing flooding from heavy rains this weekend.

We have viewer reports of neighborhoods being flooded in Corning and cars stalled on flooded roads.

The Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department tweeted about flooding in Lawrence and Randolph Counties Sunday morning.

They said Highway 115 east of Jessup, around the 16 mile marker, is closed due to high water.

The AHTD also tweeted that Highway 166 north of Pocahontas, at log mile 3.4, is closed because of high water on the road.

A viewer also reported to Region 8 News that the Fourche River has flooded and spilled onto Engelberg Road in Pocahontas. She said the road is impassible.

If you come to a road that has water over it, do not try to pass it. Find an alternate route.

Send your flooding pictures to us on Twitter and Facebook or by emailing them to us at sendit@kait8.com.
