JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Emergency crews responded to a crash in eastern Greene County Monday night where one car was submerged in water.
According to the Greene County Sheriff's Department, it was on Highway 139 near Mounds.
Greene County Sheriff's Deputies and an ambulance are responded to the scene.
Nobody was injured in the crash, but they were unable to get the Chevrolet Lumina Sedan out.
The Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department did close that section of Highway 139 around 4 p.m. due to high water.
Emergency crews also had to get a car unstuck in Sharp County Monday night.
It appears that a car was trying to cross a bridge and got stuck in the water.
A wrecker was able to get the car out and it appears that everyone was able to get out of the vehicle safely.
