JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

The Jonesboro Police Department is looking for someone who stole “truck loads of donations” out of the Abilities Unlimited donation center.

According to Heather Holmes, director of marketing for Abilities Unlimited, someone stole donations from the center located on West Huntington sometime between Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.

Abilities Unlimited captured surveillance video that shows two separate groups of people enter the facility, load up their vehicles and leave.

Holmes said the first group loaded a red truck once, left, came back and loaded the truck a second time. Holmes said she recognized a man and woman in the vehicle.

Holmes said a silver or gray colored van then entered the facility. She said surveillance showed someone taking items and loading the van while children played nearby.

She said the stuff outside of their donation center was more than just things people gave away.

"This is our livelihood," Holmes said. "This is something that, you know if we don't have donations, we don't have merchandise in our store, which means we don't have funding for the programs for the nearly 400 people we serve with disabilities. While it may be free to us and it may just be junk to you, it's something. It's something to us, it's money to us."

Police have not made any arrests.
