UPDATE: Suspects arrested in theft case at Abilities Unlimited

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - UPDATE April 18: According to Public Information Officer Paul Holmes with the Jonesboro Police Department, the Abilities Unlimited theft case involving Kelly Bass and Donnie Wright is closed. Holmes says felony charges were dropped to misdemeanor charges, and both Bass and Wright have paid their court fines and completed their community service hours.

A day after posting surveillance video of suspects going through the donation center at Abilities Unlimited in Jonesboro, police made two arrests in the case.

According to Public Information Officer Paul Holmes with the Jonesboro Police Department, Kelly Bass, 47 and Donnie Wright, 53, of Jonesboro were arrested for breaking or entering and theft of property.

Both suspects are believed to have stolen several boxes of donations from the Abilities Unlimited Donation Center, 410 West Huntington.

Video posted on social media by director of marketing, Heather Holmes, seems to show the suspects going through and loading their vehicles with donations. The video shows two sets of suspects stealing from the non-profit organization.

"The suspects came to the drop off location during different times of the night to include early this morning (12-30-15) and took the items," the initial police report stated.

Holmes said the organization uses the donations at its store.

Both suspects will appear in court Monday for a probable cause hearing in district court.
