JONESBORO, AR - Several Jonesboro police units were called to the Rees Law Firm's office at 900 Enterprise Drive in Jonesboro shortly after 12 noon today, investigating an apparent disturbance.

A K8 News crew at the scene has learned that police have arrested a man identified as Benny Ross, whom allegedly showed up at the business and began throwing landscaping bricks and rocks through the building's windows.  At that point, employees who were there called police before locking themselves inside a bathroom.  "There were two employees at the law firm during the time the incident took place.  At this time, we're not certain what employee of the law firm the person actually had a problem with," said Sergeant Stephen McDaniel of the JPD.  However, K8 News has since learned that Ross apparently has or had a relationship with one of several women currently involved in lawsuits against attorney David Rees.

Police arrived a short time later and arrested the man. "In light of what happened in Atlanta very recently, this is a pretty scary time for everybody," said firm attorney Paul Tuefel.

"It looks like most of the damages were the exterior doors and the windows where the rocks were actually thrown," said McDaniel.  A probable cause hearing for the suspect is now scheduled for Thursday morning.
