Kennett police investigate New Year's Eve stabbing

KENNETT, MO (KAIT) - The Kennett Police Department is investigating a stabbing it says happened on New Year's Eve.

According to a Facebook post by the department, officers were called out shortly before 10 p.m., to a home on the 1600-block of Bradley Street, in reference to a man with blood on him.

When they arrived, officers found that he had been stabbed in a nearby home.

The unidentified individual was taken to the Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center for his injuries.

The department said it does have a suspect but did not release any other information about that suspect.
