BATESVILLE, AR (KAIT) - Construction crews are making progress on the Batesville Community and Aquatic Center.
The center is a year behind on construction due to weather, but Parks and Recreation Director Jeff Owens said it is coming along.
This week, crews installed the water slides for the outdoor water park.
In addition to the outdoor park, the center includes an indoor aquatic center, volleyball and racquetball courts and more.
The city hopes to have the center open by late spring or summer of this year.
