Pinterest-inspired store moves to downtown Paragould

PARAGOULD, AR (KAIT) -

The first Pinterest-inspired store in Paragould has seen great success after two years of being in business.

The Twisted Peacock, which opened in 2014, moved to downtown Paragould Tuesday.

Store owner Carrie Reeves said the move is great because downtown is growing and she wants the store to continue growing as well.

“Since we have moved downtown, our popularity has grown quite a bit and a lot of people want to become a part of our family here at the store,” Reeves said.

The Twisted Peacock is a handcraft and do-it-yourself store.

All the items in the store are handmade or refurnished. Reeves said no electronics are sold at her store.

The store also offers classes for people to learn certain crafts like knitting and painting.

Reeves said the new opening was a success. She saw some new faces in the store, along with her repeat customers.

Reeves wants her customers to know the unique thing about her store is that there are new products almost every day and many things can be custom ordered.

She said the future for the store is to add more classes and continue to bring in more customers to the new location.
