Man accused of selling meth to informant

MOUNTAIN HOME, AR (KAIT) - Baxter County sheriff's deputies arrested a Mountain Home man they said sold drugs to an undercover informant.

Rodney Buck, 53, is charged with delivery of methamphetamine and unlawful use of a communications device, both felonies.

According to Sheriff John Montgomery, on Sept. 29 Buck sold 1 gram of meth to the "cooperating individual" for $100.

Unbeknownst to Buck, Montgomery said investigators monitored and recorded the transaction.

On Jan. 8, deputies arrested Buck and took him to the Baxter County Detention Center. He was released that same day after posting $5,000 bond.

Montgomery credited the Mountain Home Police Department and the 14th Judicial Drug Task Force in assisting with the investigation.
