JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

Two teenage boys were arrested Monday for stealing jeans from Dillard’s.

Officer Fitzgerald was observing a boy who was acting suspicious in the store.

He began talking to him and was able to identify him as Tobiuse Reynolds, 18, of Jonesboro.

When he walked away, Officer Fitzgerald started questioning Reynolds’ brother, who said Reynolds had taken a pair of jeans without paying for them.

When Reynolds came back in the store, Officer Fitzgerald questioned him about the jeans. The teenager admitted to taking the jeans and agreed to return them.

The security camera operator then told Officer Fitzgerald that another young man, later identified as Jermaine Jones, 18, of Jonesboro, also had a stolen pair of jeans on.

A Jonesboro police officer responded to the store and took the boys to the Craighead County Jail.

They were both charged with theft of property and given a $770 bond.

They are expected in court Wednesday.
