Separate investigations land Pocahontas men behind bars

POCAHONTAS, AR (KAIT) - Two Pocahontas men were jailed on separate charges over the weekend.

According to Pocahontas Police Chief Cecil Tackett, Donnie Noles, 40, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia following an interaction with police.

Noles' bond was set at $5,000.

In a separate incident, Jason Michael Roberson, 39, was arrested by Arkansas State Police on a bench warrant for possession of firearms by certain persons.

Pocahontas police searched Roberson's residence on December 29, 2015 and found firearms inside.

According to Chief Tackett, Roberson had previously been convicted of a felony and is prohibited from possessing firearms.

Roberson's bond was set at $10,000.

He and Noles are both back in court on March 7.
