WALNUT RIDGE, AR (KAIT) - A proposal at the Walnut Ridge City Council meeting allowing several homes to be demolished passed Monday night.
Mayor Charles Snapp said the proposal passed for one of the nine houses that was slated for demolition.
He said the council would meet next month to discuss when the house will be demolished.
Snapp also said they passed the city's budget at the meeting.
They plan to upgrade city equipment, help with veteran's retirement and increase city employee's wages by 50 cents per hour.
