2 area businesses apply for private club permits

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

The owners of a new downtown Jonesboro restaurant are a step closer to serving alcohol along with their farm-to-table fare.

As we reported previously, the owners of The Parsonage 322 had planned to request a liquor license.

According to the Department of Finance Administration’s Alcoholic Beverage Control, during the week ending Jan. 8, John T. Myers submitted a new application for a Private Club-Class A permit for the restaurant located at 322 Main.

During that same week, Chintan S. Patel applied for a private club permit for 109 Main Dining Club, 109 Main St. in Batesville.

The ABC reported receiving the following applications from Region 8 businesses during the week ending Jan. 15:

  • Retail Beer Off Premises: Sai Mart #2, 3200 Airbase Road in Newport
  • Retail Beer On Premises: Bob-O’s Dance Gaming, 204 East St. in Harrisburg
  • Change of Manager/Retail Beer Off Premises, Small Farm Winery-Retail: Walmart #74, 2720 West Keiser Ave. in Osceola
