Pistol reportedly stolen out of truck Friday

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Jonesboro police are investigating after a weapon was stolen from a truck Friday afternoon.

Officers responded to the 3000-block of East Highland Drive around 2:05 p.m. in response to breaking and entering of a vehicle.

Two men told officers they went into the mall around 12:30 p.m. and came back out around 2 p.m.

They said a pistol was stolen from the center console of their truck.

According to the police report, the men said the truck's driver side window doesn't roll up because the motor is broken.

There was no damage to the truck.
