SeMo Trooper Gunned Down Outside His Home

VAN BUREN, MO - The Missouri State Highway Patrol is mourning the death of one its own this morning.

Patrol Sergeant Carl Dewayne Graham was shot and killed outside his southeast Missouri home yesterday afternoon, still wearing his uniform.  Graham was 37 and lived near Van Buren.  He was the patrol's supervisor for Carter County.

The patrol and other law enforcement agencies are investigating.  So far, no suspects are in custody.

Graham is a Dexter native, and is survived by his 4-year-old son.
