JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Jonesboro police say three boys, ages 10 and 11, broke into two mobile homes and caused thousands of dollars worth of damage.
The boys broke into two trailers in the 900-block of North Caraway sometime over the weekend, according to the initial incident report.
Once inside the homes, police say the suspects spray-painted obscenities on the walls and damaged the furnaces and ovens.
The boys also reportedly removed the screws from the windows in both trailers and placed them in the floor.
The damage to the mobiles homes was estimated at $8,600.
After speaking to several people who live in the area, Officer Brian Arnold learned that one of the suspects had been seen with a spray paint can.
When Arnold questioned the boys, with their parents present, they reportedly admitted to the vandalism.
The case has been turned over to the Juvenile Division.
