PARAGOULD, AR (KAIT) -

Paragould police arrested a man Thursday suspected of going to various stores and harassing women.

Investigators say Travis Mims claimed to be a "celebrity trainer" and would make inappropriate comments, including talking about the "size of his sexual organs and offering to show it to them."

Detective Michael Oost said officers arrested Mims on Rector Road.

He is charged with 7 counts of harassment. He's being held in lieu of $17,500 bond.

"We had seven women come in and make an official report through the police department," Oost said.

Oost said Mims the woman who did come in and give a statement helped them make the arrest.

"All the women that came in their statements were pretty accurate from one another, he was telling each woman pretty much the same story," Oost said."He was telling them he was a celebrity trainer, offered to help train them and just being pretty vulgar afterward."

Paragould Police received the arrest warrant Thursday morning and had Mims in custody by 11:30 a.m.
