(KAIT) - A shower rug is being recalled for not staying in one place.
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission states Tristar Products Inc. of Fairfield, NJ is recalling their AquaRug shower rugs.
The 4 suction cups on the underside of the rug used to prevent slipping can fail which poses a fall risk.
CPSC reports Tristar has received "60 reports of consumers falling in the shower or bathtub while on the recalled four suction cup rugs, including 30 reports of injuries such as bruises, cuts, and fractured or broken bones."
About 1.4 million units have been sold in the U.S. at Bed Bath & Beyond, Dollar General and other retail stores nationwide as well as online retailers from July 2012 to September 2015.
If you have an AquaRug you should stop using it immediately and contact Tristar on how to receive a free replacement.
