WALNUT RIDGE, AR (KAIT) - Williams Baptist College will host its annual Hunger Awareness Dinner on Tuesday, Feb. 9.
The dinner is designed to increase awareness about global hunger, poverty and food supply.
Current Williams students who have international exposure or mission experience will be the guest speakers.
Tickets are $1 for students and $5 for non-students. Proceeds will go to Heifer International, a Little Rock-based nonprofit organization that works to end hunger around the world by providing livestock and training to struggling communities.

The dinner will begin at 6:30 p.m. in WBC's Mabee Student Center.
The college's Phi Beta Lambda chapter, a society of business students, leads the student-organized event.
