Several items, including gun, stolen from Jonesboro home

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

Police are investigating a recent burglary where the thief stole several items, including a gun.

Officers were dispatched to the 1,000-block of West Oak Avenue around 10:10 a.m. Monday in reference to a burglary.

According to the Jonesboro police report, the homeowner said she left the house around 7:50 a.m. and returned around 10:05 a.m., when she noticed her gate standing open.

She told police that she walked to the back of the house and saw her back door busted open.

She discovered several items were missing including a Smith and Wesson .22 pistol, an Xbox 360, 200 rounds of ammo and 2 iPhones.

The stolen items are valued at approximately $2,115, according to the police report.

Police do not have a suspect at this time. If you have any information about this case, you are urged to call Crimestoppers at 935-STOP.
